Introduction
Engine misfire results in increased emission and damage to the three-way catalyst converters in the condition of high misfire rate. Therefore, diagnosis of the engine misfire is one of the most important items of vehicle OBD systems. Misfire generator is a powerful device used for the development, calibration and testing of the engine misfire diagnosis functions in the vehicle powertrain systems.
Misfire Generator, the misfire generators developed by Beijing Unison Electronics Technology Co., Ltd., meets the regulations of SAE Standard J2901 in the USA. The ignition state in each cylinder is judged by monitoring the ignition control signal coming from the ECU. The misfire command signal, generated according to the configurations of the users, will block the corresponding ignition signals and thus cause the engine misfires.
